1. Overview
Sky Charter India acts solely as an aviation marketplace and booking facilitator. All cancellation and refund policies are determined by the individual DGCA-approved operator providing the aviation services. Sky Charter India does not set, control, or guarantee any cancellation or refund terms.
The specific cancellation and refund terms applicable to your booking will be communicated to you at the time of booking confirmation. You are strongly advised to review these terms carefully before making any payment.
2. Customer-Initiated Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify Sky Charter India and the operator in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation fees and refund eligibility shall be determined by the operator's policy and the timing of your cancellation.
Typical operator cancellation structures may include:
- Cancellation more than 72 hours before departure: partial refund minus administrative fees
- Cancellation 24-72 hours before departure: significant cancellation fee applies
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before departure: minimal or no refund
- No-show: no refund applicable
The above is illustrative only. Actual terms vary by operator and shall be confirmed at booking.
3. Operator Cancellation
In the event that an operator cancels a confirmed booking due to technical issues, aircraft unavailability, crew issues, regulatory restrictions, weather conditions, or any other operational reason, the operator remains solely responsible for:
- Processing full refunds of all amounts paid by the customer
- Providing alternative arrangements where feasible
- Compensating the customer as per applicable consumer protection laws
- Communicating the cancellation and reasons to the customer promptly
Sky Charter India may assist with communication and coordination but assumes no financial liability for operator cancellations.
4. Refund Process
Where Sky Charter India has collected payment on behalf of the operator, refund requests shall be forwarded to the operator for processing. Sky Charter India shall coordinate the refund process but does not guarantee refund timelines, which depend on the operator's internal processes and banking procedures.
Where payment was made directly to the operator, all refund requests must be directed to the operator. Sky Charter India is not a party to such transactions and has no authority to process refunds.
5. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds may not be available in the following scenarios, subject to the operator's specific terms:
- Customer no-show at the designated departure location
- Customer failure to provide required documentation
- Customer refusal to comply with security or safety requirements
- Booking changes requested by the customer after confirmation
- Cancellations due to customer-provided incorrect information
- Force majeure events beyond the operator's control
6. Force Majeure
Neither the customer nor the operator shall be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure results from force majeure events, including but not limited to: floods, earthquakes, storms, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, airspace closures, airport shutdowns, political unrest, terrorism, security threats, military actions, and civil disturbances. In such cases, the operator's refund policy shall apply.
7. Booking Changes
Requests to modify booking details (dates, times, routes, passengers) are subject to operator approval and may incur additional charges. All change requests must be submitted in writing and confirmed by the operator before taking effect.
